A strong, commanding scent, Hugo Boss' Boss #1 is mature and instantly takes charge of a room. Boss #1 gets to the point quickly and is able to achieve its purpose with a minimum of fuss and flutter.

Launched in 1985, Boss #1 has an earthy and herbal quality, a very full fragrance with top notes of Artemisia, green apple, grapefruit, juniper, basil, caraway, lemon and bergamot. The opening is short and sweet moving into scents of honey, lavender, jasmine, orris root, rose, sage, lily-of-the-valley and geranium. In the base, tobacco dominates and warms the other notes of sandalwood, patchouli, oakmoss, musk, cedar and amber.
